Life in the Parlor

In Dornie we stayed in a B&B called Tigh Tasgaidh {I have absolutely no clue how to pronounce that} and it was fantastic.  Our guest suite had two bedrooms, a bath, a fully stocked kitchen, and a parlor, which was where we spent most of our time.

The time changed the weekend we were in Scotland, which meant it got dark between 430 and 5 each night, affording us plenty of time to lounge in the parlor playing games, making music on the iPhone/iPad, working on puzzles {that puzzle was horrible and we never got close to finishing it}, and sitting by our fake fireplace while 3/4 of us drank tea.

Our parlor was filled with antique family photos...  the type where everyone is sitting in a chair and no one is smiling.  On our last night we decided to create a parlor photo of our own.  And it was hilarious.  And I had a really hard time not laughing and ruined several attempts by bursting into a giggle fit a split second before the picture took.  But we finally managed and here was our best and final shot.

Our prized family photo ::

Haha.  That photo makes me laugh.
