Ten years ago today {or yesterday, depending on who you ask}, Mark and I went on our first official date. Ten years! That's just plain Crazy!
I scanned our only photo from that evening and posted it below. Mark took some medical tape and made animals on my fingers ... an elephant, giraffe, hippo, and rhino. We kept those for a long time but they eventually got lost along the way. I assume they are stuck on walls in different places we've lived. I know the last place I saw Butch Cassidy {the elephant} was stuck to the wall in Mark's mom's sewing room / guest bedroom.
Tonight we celebrated with Italian food, a walk around the park, and then a trip to Barnes & Noble where we stood in front of the international travel section and tried to decide where to go this year. We are working on two different ideas, both quite grand and exciting, and are having a hard time deciding. We just stood there, looking at all those books of all those places and wondered "hmm...We can go to any of these places. Where should we go?" Seriously, what a great problem to have after ten years together.
