The Drive

I left work early last Thursday for a much needed long weekend.  It has involved walks, a massage aimed at removing some pesky computer-induced knots, a few hours at a LEGO festival in downtown Denver, homemade pizzas, and a mini-road trip four hours south to the Great Sand Dunes National Park.  ...basically it has involved anything but sitting at the computer working on maps {something I enjoy but definitely need a break from occasionally}.  We had two options for getting to the Dunes.  One involved traveling down the interstate, which can become rather mind-numbing.  The other option, the one we chose, was a much more scenic highway that took us past the San Juan and Sangre de Christo Mountains {all part of the Rocky Mountains} and through the town of Salida where we stopped for lunch.  Not too shabby.

I guess you just can't put a price on a good bear.

Based on the apostrophe, I think this Tee person has a lot of $9.99 bears. I personally prefer the $14.99 bears, but that's just me. :)
