Camping in No Name

Mark's been working on a new hairstyle...

On Sunday morning we woke up with the sun and traveled a short distance into the canyon to hike the Hanging Lake Trail.  This trail is a ridiculously popular 1.2 mile hike to a lake suspended 1,000 feet up in the rocks.  It's not the most strenuous hike I've ever done, but definitely not for the out-of-shape tourist either. And the tiny lake at the top is a feast for the eyes...  insanely blue-green water that reflects every tree and rock nearby.

And then we hiked down, ready to make our way back to Denver and talking about what a great weekend it was.  And then this happened.

And just like that our 2-day weekend turned into a 3-day weekend.
