{I lack complete imagination when it comes to post titles}

This could put a little damper on hiking season {click photo to enlarge}:

That's Mark's foot. And that's a piece of glass hanging out between his big toe and um, well, that other toe {Is that the index toe?}. We assume its been floating around in there since October of last year, when he dropped a drinking glass on his bare foot and practically passed out on the kitchen floor {the man cannot handle the sight of his own blood}. His foot has been bothering him from time to time so last week he decided to have it x-rayed. For now the glass will stay put but at some point we'll probably want to have it removed.

On a side note, Mark's been worried that by putting his x-ray on the blog, someone will see something seriously wrong with his foot. Yes dear. The podiatrist couldn't diagnose you with that rare and fatal foot disease, but one of my faithful blog readers will. What a perfectly logical concern...
