Mark and I recently decided to sponsor a Compassion child, named Getrude. She's seven and lives in Uganda. We think she's fantastic, partially because she's obviously a Vol fan. Just check out her outfit! Her picture stole our heart and now she's part of our family.
We had been on the fence about sponsoring a child for awhile (it's easy to be skeptical), but then I ran across the following quote:
"It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish" -- Mother Teresa
...and all of a sudden the decision was easy.
