Our flight home on Monday didn't leave until mid-afternoon, so we woke up early that morning and took a mini road-trip before heading to the airport. We drove up Maine's coast and visited the country's easternmost point near Lubec, Maine. There's a state park there with a lighthouse. We didn't linger long since it was freezing and we weren't too keen on missing our flight back to Knoxville.
And on an unrelated note, the Award for Strangest Place in Maine goes to...
Wild Blueberry Land! The collapsed man in the wagon adds a nice touch. Inside I was crowned Princess of Wild Blueberry Land. How special.
