We're back in {freezing!} Colorado after a long Christmas holiday in our beloved Tenne-Bama and we've brought some southern germs back with us. Despite the fact we're ringing in the New Year with the fevers and sniffly noses we picked up back home, it was well worth it to spend the holiday surrounded by friends and family.
On Christmas Day :: Jack got an 18-wheeler from Santa and was happy as a clam. My dad made his traditional Christmas pancakes. We played games and toys and we watched Home Alone. Unfortunately Laura was sick in bed most of the day {she would be the monkey in our chain of illness} but even still, we all invaded my brother's house and had a relaxing day together.

Later in the week we all gathered at my parent's house to celebrate Christmas with the rest of the Campbell Clan. Unfortunately my mamaw and papaw weren't there this year. They've had a rough year and after having been in the hospital/rehab/nursing home for almost 6-months, they were finally in their own house and not really wanting to leave. I don't blame them. But we missed them all the same.
^ Love this little guy, even though he looks a bit crazy in this picture. He was running around with a plastic egg {or, if you're three, a space ship} and had to stop mid-orbit to take a picture with his aunt and uncle. That's what you look like when you've been barreling through space for ten minutes and then suddenly have to return to Earth for a photo-op.

Did you see me waving at you from down the street? Both in TN and AL? Because I totally was.
