The View

While in Chicago we ventured to the top of the John Hancock Building, Chicago's fourth tallest skyscraper, to see the city from above. We went right at twilight, which was perfect. The views were fantastic.

When we left we stumbled upon a group of caroler's decked out in Bear's jerseys. It was my first taste of Christmas this year and I loved it. Mark, my overdeveloped left-brained husband, asked "What's the purpose of all this?" Umm, Christmas! It's pretty! Oh Mark...whatever will I do with you.

Fun Fact: The name Chicago comes from a French pronunciation of an Indian word meaning "wild onion".

Really great pictures, Tracy! That gelato place was down in the plaza with the Christmas tree and the carolers. Is it still there??

awesome!! You probably don't want to know that you can go up to the observation deck on the sears tower and step out on a clear ledge. I'm telling you this so you have to come back!! :)
