After two weeks, it was time to start our journey home. We took one last group photo and boarded the ferry for Athens, leaving Lottie and Guillaume behind in Naxos (giving the term rendez-boo a whole new meaning). The following day we started our 19-hour trip back to the States, ready for some clean clothes, a bowl of cereal, and already planning our next adventure into this amazing world in which we live.
*If you're wondering Where's my postcard?, we didn't forget about you. It's just lost somewhere between here and Istanbul. Hopefully, with any luck, it will arrive before Thanksgiving.
