2009 Review

Winter
Traveled to Atlanta with friends, moved to Washington and began internship at National Geographic, met new friends, reached my museum quota for the year, and welcomed Jack into the world.

Spring
Saw the Cherry Blossoms, hiked in Shenandoah, visited Baltimore and Philadelphia, enjoyed the company of family and friends, moved back to Knoxville, graduated with my M.S., hiked to Charlies Bunion, and began to freelance.

Summer
My NG map hit newsstands, went to New England and enjoyed a long, rainy weekend in Maine, visited Rachel in Boston, flew with Peter for the 4th of July, met Lottie and Guillaume in Atlanta, turned 29, went to Asheville, and hiked some more.

Fall
Accepted a new job, traveled to Oregon and California, attended the NACIS conference, hiked yet again, went to Daholonega for the wedding of one of my closest friends, then to DC, and celebrated our six year anniversary.
It has been quite the ride... Goodbye 2009. I'll miss you.
