On Saturday Mark and I went to the Lawrenceburg, TN to celebrate my Mamaw's 80th birthday. Her birthday soiree included a covered-dish lunch with about 60 of our relatives (it was a packed house). We ate, we sang, we celebrated, we wished Mamaw another 80 more...and we all wished desperately that everyone was wearing name tags (or at least I did). A little "My name is ____, and I'm related to you by ____" would have been very helpful.
Being the baby-addict that I am, I spent most of the afternoon hovering around my nephew Jack. Poor kid - a cute baby in the midst of 60 relatives is never pleasant. He lasted about 15 minutes, then was whisked away to a top-secret location known only by immediate family.
I'm weak to his cuteness.
