Cherry Blossoms

Posts about our most recent visitors (Tiff and Amanda) are still to come, but before I begin working on those, I wanted to let everyone know that spring has finally arrived in Washington DC. The Cherry Blossom festival "began" on Saturday (I use quotes because it was raining all day Saturday), and after our friends left today and a quick 2 hour nap, Mark and I headed into town to check the blossom status. They're supposed to actually peak on Wednesday but were still photo worthy this afternoon.

Attention Tourists: Please go home. There are just too many of you.
